Join us for Fundamentals of Breath & Meditation taught by URecFit Yoga Instructor Joe Roberson!

Learn to manage mood, energy and attention in this experiential and practical course. Breathing well increases energy and reduces stress. Meditating can help reduce anxiety and increase concentration. Besides learning mechanics of healthy breathing, you will also learn special techniques that increase, decrease and balance your energy. Simple and easy meditation techniques will increase your ability to concentrate on the topic at hand.
Gain practical life tools that will help increase your productivity & happiness!
Course Dates, Times, and Location
This session will run once a week from February 13th through March 19th from 6:30-7:45pm on Mondays in Room 349 in the SMC Campus Center at 621 W. Lombard St. The class entails six 75 minute sessions.
Course Fee
$60 - For UM Students & URecFit Members,
$120 - Non-Members including UM Staff, UMMC Staff, & UM Affiliates. Non-Members have to be eligible for membership and affiliated with the University. This fee includes full use of URecFit's facilities during the duration of the program. A membership form and waiver is required to be completed before the start of the program.
This class is limited to 20 and registration closes the day before the event.
Class RegistrationComplete the registration process. Please select the appropriate ticket (Member vs. Non-Member) You will receive a ticket via email. Please bring this to the first class.
