On Saturday, March 31, 2012, Coppin State University is partnering with the Baltimore Collegetown Network, Maryland-DC Campus Compact and the Shriver Center at UMBC to present this unique day-long conference. This is the fifth annual "Service-Learning and Civic Engagement Conference" and will be attended by students, faculty and staff from Maryland and DC colleges and universities. This year's theme is Community-Based Learning: Paving the Way for Change.
The purpose of the conference is to share success strategies among students, faculty and staff at institutions throughout Maryland and DC on the topics of community service, service-learning and civic engagement.
