Dear Community Leaders:

The Safe Haven Too Daycare Center relocated near Montgomery Wards Business Park by Carroll Park Golf Course this past May. We have thirty-nine children receiving daycare with capacity for 94.  This letter invites PARENTS, POLITICAL REPRESENTATIVES, CLERGY, ATHLETES, SENIOR CENTERS, BUSINESS OWNERS, EDUCATORS, AND MORE to partner with us by Adopting a Child or a Classroom and Giving Generously ~ to strengthen and support our 17 year history, particularly beginning July 5 to September 5, during the “KINDNESS 4 KIDS” giving campaign.  YOUR PARTNERSHIP AND YOUR SUPPORT makes it possible for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years of age to continue receiving education, preparation and nurturing.  

Our new location has plans to upgrade the kitchen, to make it more adaptable to the needs of 94 children in the daycare setting; alter the playground to make it more kid friendly, and with more updated learning and developmental exercise equipment; stay abreast of staff training and development, keep our computers current to aid the digital divide, purchase furnishings to complete each childcare room, prevent lack as we encounter payment and processing delays as several children are re-issued daycare admission vouchers during our four-week service interruption as we encountered a few unexpected moving issues.  Basically we experienced a little gridlock during this temporary setback. Therefore, we are Requesting Immediate Financial Assistance Today!

We are acting now to keep 39 kids from losing daycare, and need your ‘kindness in action’ with any level of donation.  We have several fundraisers [Joe Corbi’s Pizza, Safety Products such as a First Aid Kits for home/auto ($10 – www.safehaven2012events.eventbrite.com to purchase, and safety products for home or travel away from home)], and other upcoming events that will include the families of our daycare and community and make a small but ongoing impact, to continue building and improving our financial outlook:

·         instructional dvd    

We are excited about this new location and the opportunity it offers to partner with individuals and community leaders who care, and want to see a much needed business like ours KEEP OUR DOORS OPEN!

We welcome you to call and set up an appointment to visit and tour the building, if you wish to do so prior to or after our group tour, which will be held in August, midway through our campaign.  Major thruways such as Monroe Street and Washington Boulevard, and major highways such as I-95, and 295 provide easy access to our facility.
